School-Based Mental Health Prevention Worker

The School-based Mental Health Prevention Worker goes into the schools in Ashcroft, Cache Creek and Clinton during the school year and provides Ministry-approved, evidence-based programs to the students.

Most of the programs offered are offered to the classrooms as a whole, but some programs (upon request) can be delivered to smaller groups of targeted students. The programs are to teach students on how to cope with different emotions – anxiety, frustration, anger, etc..

  • Adolescents Coping with Emotions (ACE)
  • Coping Cat
